As I came across this by accident last night, I spent several minutes trying to figure it out. Any follower of Madlib's Medicine Show series may or may not have noticed that #9 was left out; the record seen above is that lost #9. Stones Throw is very vague on the details of this thing but as I dug a little but more I found the following. The album, Channel 85 Presents Nittyville is a collection of tracks that were released on a monthly basis. The record features Frank Nitt from Detroit as well as MED, Oh No and Madlib himself. According to WOUHH, the album can be seen as "traditional" in the sense that there is one MC flows over these Madlib tracks. The LP will be released May 17th on CD and May 31st as a triple LP.
