Very excited to announce the next See The Leaves presents show. This Friday, July 22nd will feature two solo projects with a sound very different from their respective projects.  Ander from Skeletal System and Trevor Hacker (Equators) from Sunbeam Rd will will perform music that is experimental in their own right. Event: Holy Spirits / Phantom Kicks / Mutual Benefit / Steffaloo [Milk Bar, San Francisco 01.20.2011]

Today marks my 500th post and I couldn't be more excited than to have Holy Spirits and Think or Smile as the subject. Several months back I first debuted the band's EP, The Afternoon's Blood, on this site and since then the band has formed a collaborative relationship with visual artist Nathaniel Whitcomb. Nathaniel runs Think or Smile and has made a series of motion collages for each song on the EP. Below is the brand new collage for "Contain"; all his other work can be found here. The collage was made from 40 year old National Geographic magazines that were hand cut and digitally assembled. All of these videos will be projected over Holy Spirits as they perform for the first time on the West Coast (dates below).

Event: Skeletal System / Dash Jacket / School Knights [Fivepoints Arthouse, San Francisco 12.20.2010]

See The Leaves and SFitall are proud to present Skeletal System (SF), Dash Jacket (OC) and School Knights (CO) Monday December 20th at the Fivepoints Arthouse.  The DIY art space will feature some of my favorite artists on the DIY tip and couldn't be more happy with the lineup.  Skeletal System have recently released a new single titled "Small Talk" and can be found below.  Dash Jacket have a new 7'' single pressed from blog favorite label Fire Talk Records while School Knights have an upcoming release on Bridgetown Records.
