Event: Little Wings / Royal Baths / Sea Of Bees / White Cloud [The Verdi Club, 08.06.2011]

This Saturday, San Francisco blog, The Bay Bridged, turns 5 years old and to celebrate have put together a pretty stacked lineup. Co-headlining the show will be Little Wings and Royal Baths (this will be their farewell show as the band will be relocating to New York). Also on the bill is the very talented Sea Of Bees and blog favorites White Cloud. DJs for the event will be Peter Arko (Ears of the Beholder / City Limits Records co-founder) and Kevin Meenan (Epicsauce). The event is a benefit show with a sliding scale of $10-20 which helps the non-profit organization fund the free events they put on (Rock Make Festival and the recent Phono Del Sol) as well as keeping the site alive.

Tickets for the show can be found here with more information on the show here

The Rumble [Milk Bar, San Francisco 09.08.2010]

The Rumble returns to San Francisco on September 8th at Milk Bar and after my recent move to San Francisco, I can finally attend this awesome free event. The monthly show is put on by Future Sounds along with The Owl Mag, They Bay Bridged, Noise Pop, SF Bay Guardian, Bagel Radio, The OCMD, and Ameoba will feature the music of Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., Oona and Taxes. The Rumble spans the entire West Coast with Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. making all the stops from Seattle to San Diego then heads East to Las Vegas, Austin and New York.

"Led by from former Crumb front man, Robby Cronholm, TAXES are on the heels of the release of This is Going to End Badly and garnering plenty of Bay Area attention. Taxes are set to infuse THE RUMBLE SF with their brand of 90's influenced rock"
"Our love for DALE EARNHARDT JR. JR. knows no bounds, as this Detroit based duo are crafting infectious blissed out psych-folk rock coupled with thumping drum beats. DEJJ are all over the place right now and the chance to see them before they blow up is not to be missed"

"Led by Dave Tweedie and Oona Garthwaite, OONA are known for their live shows led by Ooona's raw stage presence and vocal prowess. After being nominated for the Best Breakout Bay Area Artist on MTV2 and their hit "Tore Up My Heart" was picked up by SYTYCD, Oona is braced for big things"
