Mark Sultan has been a major player in the garage and punk rock worlds as being part of projects like King Kahn & BBQ Show (he is BBQ) and Almighty Defenders. Thus while having some time to himself, he has readied a solo album which will drop sometime on the next few months. The album is $ for status which also happens to be my favorite track off of the record. There is also a video for the song but was apparently pulled from youtube "within 5 minutes" but can be found here. Mark will make his way into San Francisco on October 10th at Rickshaw Stop along with Hunx and his Punk and Shannon and the Clams.
