Unsa Oonm is a band out of Denver with a very experimental sound. Seeing that they had a cassette coming out on Fire Talk in May, I thought I'd check them out. There is definitely a sense of mysticism and wonder with the music; it puts you into deep thought and flexes the imagination. A majority of the songs are instrumental with vocals used as either chants or to create effects. But listening to the tracks on the band's Myspace page, there is a lot of variation between them, each song taking on a form of its own.
