See The Leaves and SFitall are proud to present Skeletal System (SF), Dash Jacket (OC) and School Knights (CO) Monday December 20th at the Fivepoints Arthouse.  The DIY art space will feature some of my favorite artists on the DIY tip and couldn't be more happy with the lineup.  Skeletal System have recently released a new single titled "Small Talk" and can be found below.  Dash Jacket have a new 7'' single pressed from blog favorite label Fire Talk Records while School Knights have an upcoming release on Bridgetown Records. Darkwave San Francisco duo have released a new single to follow up the band's fantastic self-titled EP called "Small Talk".  This time around, Andy and Brian went to studio to lay down these two tracks and the end result is simply brilliant.  The songs are dominated less by the electro element but rather place an emphasis on vocal harmonies and melody arrangements.  This new single shows Skeletal System growing and improving upon their sound, polishing it and making it sound a whole lot better; the only direction is up for this band.

Skeletal System [Skeletal System EP]

Skeletal System is the duo of Andy and Brian from San Francisco. Both share vocal duties while Andy's work consists mostly of generating the dark electronic sound that is fused with the shoegaze performed by Brian. In January 2010 the band released an excellent darkwave 5 track EP which can be found here as a free digital download. According to Andy, the band are to hit the studio to record a 7'' single that will hopefully be spinning on turntables soon.
