While making a couple stops during Dash Jacket's mini tour along California, the trio met up with Sean Stout from Terroreyes.tv in Sacramento to film a new song the band have been working on. The track is titled "Half Glass Full"

See The Leaves and SFitall are proud to present Skeletal System (SF), Dash Jacket (OC) and School Knights (CO) Monday December 20th at the Fivepoints Arthouse. The DIY art space will feature some of my favorite artists on the DIY tip and couldn't be more happy with the lineup. Skeletal System have recently released a new single titled "Small Talk" and can be found below. Dash Jacket have a new 7'' single pressed from blog favorite label Fire Talk Records while School Knights have an upcoming release on Bridgetown Records. RSVP for the event here

Dash Jacket [Leisure Burn 7'', Fire Talk Records]

This amazing new garage gem from OC boys Matt and Thom was the third new 7'' single from label Fire Talk Records. Dash Jacket have quickly become one of my favorite new young bands around as their music is the perfect brand of lo-fi garage rock. Even though the track is a bit short, coming in at under 2 minutes, that is just more of a reason to move the needle back on the opening grooves of this catchy song to play over and over.

Dash Jacket [Romance]

In this day and age of music literally flowing through the internet like water, it has become rare for me to listen to an album for more than a few days straight. But after seeing Dash Jacket perform live a few months back I picked a couple albums and have been loving this band since. Romance literally played for three weeks straight in my car as I could not get enough of this Orange Country band. Lo-fi indeed but the recordings sound great as I can describe them a little bit indie-pop with some thrash thrown in. Matt and Thomas are some of the nicest and most fun guys to hang out with and play with a passion for their music and a ferocity that simply draws one in.
