White Fence [The Pool, Afterlife Records]
A brand new label has popped up in San Francisco's Mission district titled Afterlife Records (Afterlife can be found across from Aquarius Records on Valencia Street). According to Byron, founder of the label, he aims to keep things as local as possible. Even though his first release is LA's White Fence, its close enough. The A-side is occupied by the track "Harness" which can be found on the excellent Is Growing Faith record on Woodsist. The flip side features an unreleased track titled "The Pool" which a beautiful psychedelic pop gem. The 7'' can be found here.

White Fence [Lillian (Won't You Play Drums?), Woodsist]
Its been a busy few months for Woodsist, with releases from Royal Baths, Sun Araw and Purling Hiss, not to mention some FIT activity with Ducktails and Herbcraft, favorite label of this blog keeps the momentum going come next year. In January psychedelic musician White Fence (Tim Presley from Darker My Love) will release his second solo album titled Is Growing Faith in early January; below is a spectacular track from the record.

White Fence [White Fence, Woodsist]
I can't seem to stop listening to the White Fence record, the solo psychedelic nostalgia project from Tim Presley. It had an earlier vinyl release and will now be released on CD/digital format through Woodsist records this week. This album is loaded with 60's-70's esc music and the album is a must for any fan of that creative/wonderful period of time.
