Other Lives is a band I came across a few years ago when they opened for The Decemberists in Oakland. After the set I went and picked up their s/t debut record and have been a huge fan ever since. Their songs are politically charged and beautifully arranged with tons of sounds and melodies to focus on and enjoy.
