MGMT [Congratulations]

The new MGMT album has already been leaked (shocking) and in response, the boys have decided to put it up on there website in high quality streams (how nice). They wanted to offer it as a free download, but of course, Columbia records balked. All 9 songs are included and can be found here

New MGMT [Flash Delirium]

Early last week MGMT released a new track called "Flash Delirium" off their new album, Congratulations (album cover above). Its weird, funky, and electronic as one would expect from the pysch-duo but what it lacks is the natural feel and flow of their debut; this track seems a bit forced, as if they are purposely trying to create strange music instead of just doing it. I cringed on hearing the name of the new album, I half cringed hearing this song. But who knows, never judge a book by the cover...right?
