Wooden Shjips [Lazy Bones, Thrill Jockey]

Very much refreshing to hear new Wooden Shjips music. After the amount of time Ripley had spent on Moon Duo and the attention that project got, I wasn't too sure if Wooden Shjips would be as prolific as they once were. But upon hearing "Lazy Bones" last night those fears have been dashed aside as this is one fine sounding Shjips track. The new full length, West will be out later this summer on September 13th via Thrill Jockey.
